Welcome to 'A Season of Rest and Healing' at the Breaking Cycles Women's Conference, where each moment offers an opportunity for renewal and every step leads toward empowerment.

"The Breaking Cycles Women’s Conference was one of the best
conferences I have ever attended! Every single detail was thoughtfully and mindfully
implemented to ensure attendees received trauma-informed care. Every presenter was
one of integrity, tenderness, and they all emanated wholehearted compassion. The
women selected as presenters were also astounding examples of how having
compassion for yourself allows you to fully embody hope while integrating your whole
self, despite deep-rooted trauma. I also truly appreciated that the Conference was designed to ensure the tender carenecessary to gently offer the women participating permission to heal. I saw manyastounding women begin to fully let go to begin the healing process. I specifically saw many women healing right before my eyes. It was almost as if the conference had given thempermission to heal, and to fully embody their whole being. I am deeply and profoundly
grateful to have both been an attendee and presenter last year, and I am truly excited
for the 2024 Breaking Cycles Women’s Conference!"

The effects of trauma, even if stemming from the same event, are likely to impact each person differently. Society teaches us that how trauma impacts us is somehow related to our strength; however, this is a myth that has been long-debunked by the field of psychology. This session aims to clarify the meaning of Trauma, especially during a time in which the word has been overused, diluted, and misrepresented. The session will help the audience better understand the impact of trauma.
