Available Internship Opportunities
Digital Marketing Intern
Role: Work with our marketing team to create and schedule social media posts, design graphics, support email campaigns, and update website content. Engage with our online community by responding to comments and helping grow our audience.
Skills: Social media management, digital marketing strategy, graphic design basics, content planning, analytics, communication, and community engagement.
Impact: Helps increase awareness, attract donors and volunteers, and build a strong online community that supports programs and keeps children safe and housed.
Videography Intern
Role: Capture video at events, workshops, and program activities. Assist with filming, editing, and creating short videos for social media and promotional use.
Skills: Video production, editing, storytelling, visual communication, and collaboration.
Impact: Brings the mission to life visually, helping others understand and support the work being done in the community.
Merchandising Intern
Role: Support day to day operations of our thrift store, StrongHer Generation. Assist with organizing inventory, pricing items, setting up displays, and helping customers in the store. Support sales during store hours and special events. Contribute to designing apparel and products for our online store.
Skills: Customer service, sales, organization, merchandising, creativity, basic design, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
Impact: Helps generate funding through StrongHer Generation, which directly supports housing, maternal health services, and programs for women and children. Also creates meaningful products that connect the community to the mission.
Business Management Intern
Role: Assist with day to day business operations, including scheduling, data entry, project tracking, and organizing internal processes. Support staff with administrative and operational tasks.
Skills: Organization, time management, business operations, problem-solving, teamwork, and professional communication.
Impact: Ensures programs run efficiently so staff can focus on delivering essential services to families and children.
Maternal Health Intern
Role: Assist with maternal health programs by supporting workshops, events, educational activities, and data collection. Help prepare materials and support participants.
Skills: Health education support, data collection, organization, communication, and client interaction.
Impact: Supports improved maternal and child health outcomes and provides exposure to community-based services.
Case Management Intern
Role: Assist the Resident Manager in working with residents by supporting check-ins, organizing activities, tracking needs, and assisting with communication.
Skills: Communication, empathy, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Impact: Directly supports women and children by helping ensure they receive the guidance, resources, and support needed to move forward.
